My Story

I'm going to be taking part in 'Jog 4 June' which is essentially completing a marathon (26 miles) over the space of a month. This is to raise money for the charity CDH UK:

CDH UK is for people and families who have had experience with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (this occurs in around 1 in every 2500 births). It is where the diaphragm doesn't form correctly and therefore abdominal contents will herniate into the chest cavity causing further complications.

CDH UK aims to provide awareness, to provide information and support to families to patients and to contribute where possible, to funding and advancing research in the treatment/better management of CDH.

It's an illness that's especially close to my families hearts. We had such amazing support through a difficult time and I would love to give something back. It's not just about raising money, it's also about spreading awareness for an illness that isn't very common so please please take a minute to read their website or share their page!

Thank you:)
