My Story

In Febuary 2018 my son was born with a right sided congenital diaphragmatic hernia and was only given 50% chance of survival. Through the medical science research CDH UK has funded, he survived multiple life saving operations, he no longer requires oxygen support and is a healthy happy 2 year old.

I am taking part in this challenge by completing a mile walk each day for 6 weeks. This will contribute to the distance between John OGroats and Lands End.

The charity CDH UK supports anyone who has been affected with CDH, including patients, families and medical professionals.

On thier darkest days the charity is able to support families with information and advice and is contributing to advanced research to the prevention of CDH.
